Course Description

An in-depth hands-on course covering the safe and effective use of stronger alpha and beta hydroxy acids, and trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peels. Learn how to make the best choices of chemical peels, and the best indications for the most common aesthetic concerns of your patients. This course will focus on deeper chemical peels for skin of color.

Chemical peels are one of the most cost-effective treatments and clinically effective treatments in aesthetic medicine. With level II peels, more dramatic results can be achieved, and a wider range of aesthetic concerns can be treated. Acne, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, aging, wrinkles, stretch marks, sun-damage, and some pre-cancerous lesions can all be treated with stronger chemical peels. Proper training with these peels is critical, and should only be done with the correct protocols.

You will learn to safely perform stronger chemical peels on patients of all skin colors, and Fitzpatrick skin types. Our clinic will focus on peels with patients of skin of color. Darker skin tones are more difficult to manage, and more likely to suffer from post-peel complications. After completing our course, the physician will achieve a comfort level, and more comprehensive understanding of the safe management of skin of color. This course also includes selling strategies to maximize and achieve higher practice revenue and profits. The focus training product line will be the Melanopeel Skin Clarity System.

This course is a must for any physician serious about incorporating aesthetic skin care management into their practice, and for any physician with a practice of varied ethnicities.

Completion of Level I training is a prerequisite to doing the Level II course.

A Certificate of Clinical Training will be given on completion of the course.
